History: Fueled by an entrepreneurial spirit and creativity, Bruuns Bazaar was established in 1994. The ambition was to create a fashion brand with a strong Scandinavian design tradition. Bruuns Bazaar was launched in 1994 and became instantly a frontrunner of Scandinavian fashion with an international design aesthetic, worn by stylish and wellknown celebrities such as Madonna. Bruuns Bazaar was the first brand to present the Scandinavian look as we know it today, which gained admiration around the world. In January 1999, the brand entered the official show calendar in Paris, as the first ever Danish fashion brand. Bruuns Bazaar is a contemporary brand creating womens and menswear. Bruuns Bazaar signature style is all about relaxed elegance. The look is vibrant and charismatic and the individual expression is understated yet distinct. The blend of classic styles and modern pieces has created a group of loyal devotees.

Our main focus is to design beautiful and unique pieces, using good qualities and applying strong craftsmanship at an competitive price point. Focusing on the consumer is alpha and omega for us. Our concept is founded on a solid business mo- del, where partnership is key. Bruuns Bazaar's signature styles are all about relaxed elegance. The keywords are cool comfort and Scandinavian simplicity. At Bruuns Bazaar, we want to create sustainable fashion in a way that meets the need of the present generation without compromising on the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Philosophy: We truly believe, at Bruuns Bazaar, that we have a responsibility towards future generations to leave them a planet that is as good, or hopefully better, than the one we inherited ourselves. As a Danish fashion company, we also believe that we have a Scandinavian inheritance of behaving decently as a company that we want and need to honour. This is the philosophy behind our work with sustainability, and something we try to live up to every day.

Sustainable: At the core of our products is the fabric, and at Bruuns Bazaar, we have made a clear and ambitious goal to use sustainable fabrics in 100% of our styles before 2022. This is the area of our business where we can make the largest difference, and we put all of our efforts into reaching this goal. At the same time, we continuously analyse different parts of our business to see if we can find more sustainable solutions to everyday challenges. Our work with sustainability is very close to our hearts and something that feels like a natural part of our DNA. At the same time, it is very important to us that we do not compromise on the beautiful designs and the quality that Bruuns Bazaar is known for.
